Simple Process. Guaranteed Results.
From order to notarized affidavit — here's exactly what happens.
01
Submit Your Documents
Contact us by phone, email, or our online order form. Provide the documents to be served and the subject's last known address.
02
We Assign a Server
Your case is assigned to a licensed process server familiar with the county where service is needed.
03
Up to 4 Attempts Made
We make up to four legally-compliant attempts to serve the subject, at varied times and days, as required by Michigan law.
04
Proof of Service Delivered
Once service is complete, you receive a notarized Affidavit of Service by email and first-class mail — court-ready documentation.
What Happens If Service Fails?
If we exhaust four attempts without successful personal service, we'll discuss alternative options with you: skip tracing to locate an updated address, substitute service (where Michigan rules allow), or service by posting/publication with court approval. You'll always receive a detailed log of every attempt — useful for motions and court records.
What Counts as Valid Service in Michigan?
Michigan Court Rules (MCR 2.105) require personal service by an adult who is not a party to the case. After diligent effort, substitute service may be allowed by court order. We document every attempt with date, time, and location to support a clean affidavit and any future motion for alternate service.
